Genres: Animation, comedy, family

IMDB Rating: 6.1/10

Production Company: Warner Bros. Animation,The LEGO Group,Hanna-Barbera Productions

My Rating: 5/5 stars

The Scooby gang head to an old Brickton Horror Movie Studio for a tour as a holiday. However, when they get taken round the studio mysterious things start to happen which meant a mystery is brewing?

I love all the mystery gang but my favourites in the gang, Scooby, Shaggy and Velma. Scooby and Shaggy are my favourites cause they are hilarious cute and so loveable. Velma I love her because she is smart and slightly cocky which is awesome. I didn’t like Chet Brickton he was sleezy and you know when characters makes you cringe with annoyance, he definitely did. Junior was adorable and Drella was badass.

I loved the whole idea of the movie studio mystery it made it so glamorous and dramatic. Also showed the difficult side of Hollywood which I found interesting. It was shown through the studio have to sell due to tough times which also gave the plot more depth. The plot worked perfectly as it was not all about the mystery but the studio and gang issues too.

The animation was amazing felt like real animation not Lego and there was no constraints in what they can and can’t do plus still making it legoey (that is so a word now!). Plus the reveal at the end by taking off masks was done in the coolest LEGO way.

Overall, a great family classic with the Lego touch. Those fans of the TV show will not be disappointed as the characters are the same with the mystery being fun and interesting.
