Here are all the films I would like to see this month:

11th

The Upside – 12A – 2HRS 5MINS – Comedy, drama – 3.5/10 – D= Neil Burger – S= Nicole Kidman, Kevin Hart, Bryan Cranston – A wealthy man who is in a wheelchair and needs help. So he hires someone who is feeling like his life isn’t going the right way then a friendship develops.

Opinion: I half want to see this movie as I love Bryan Cranston but I think I’ll watch on digital release.

Colette – 15 – 1HR 51MINS – biography, drama, history, – 6.8/10 – D= Wash Westmoreland – S= Keira Knightley, Dominic West, Fiona Shaw – A husband claiming he wrote a book that his wife wrote and her struggle.

Opinion: I really want to see this but it has had such a limited release I haven’t been able to go see it.

The Front Runner – 15 – 1HR 53MINS – Biography, Drama – 6.5/10 – D= Jason Reitman – S= Hugh Jackman, Vera Farmiga, J.K. Simmons – Follows Senator Gary Hart and his presidential campaign and scandal.

Opinion: I really wanted to see this movie but again extremely limited release so I couldn’t get to it in time and so definitely will grab it on DVD.

18th

Glass – 15 – 2HRS 9MINS – Drama, Mystery, SCI-FI, – N/A – D= M. Night Shyamalan – S= Sarah Paulson, Bruce Willis, James McAvoy – Kevin Wendell Crumb is back with a few friends who will intrigue our minds.

Opinion: I am dying to see this film as I loved Split I just have to find someone to come with me!

Mary Queen of Scots – 15 – 2HRS 4MINS – Biography, Drama, History, – 6.5/10 – D=Josie Rourke – S= Saoirse Ronan, Margot Robbie, Jack Lowden – Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots the oldest feud in the book.

Opinion: I am not fused about this as it has been done so many times I am slightly bored of it. Plus there are so many fantastic other women they could make a movie about that they just ignore! But I love the two main actors in it.

Beautiful Boy – 15 – 2HRS – Biography, Drama, – 7.3/10 – D= Felix van Groeningen – S= Steve Carell, Timothee Chalamet, Maura Tierney – A beautiful story of a son and father who have drifted apart and how the son tackles his drug addiction.

Opinion: I have already seen this one and OMG it was incredible the acting was amazing and the story broke my heart it is my favourite film this month.

25th

Vice – 15 – 2HRS 12MINS – Biography, Comedy, Drama, – 7.2/10 – D= Adam McKay – S=Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Steve Carell – The story of Dick Cheney.

Opinion: This has a stellar cast which is partly why I want to see it. Also due to the fact it is about politics and I love political films.

The Mule – 15 – 1HR 56MINS -Crime, Drama, Thriller, – 7.2/10 – D= Clint Eastwood – S= Clint Eastwood, Bradley Cooper, Taissa Farmiga – 90 year old veteran who is a drug mule but why?

Opinion: It looks like an incredible story and I love Clint Eastwood.

Second Act – 12A – 1HR 43MINS – Comedy, Romance – 6.1/10 – D= Peter Segal -S= Jennifer Lopez, Venessa Hudgens, Leah Remini – Maya wants a promotion but nothing goes her way.

Opinion: This looks like a fun and silly movie I will watch when it goes to digital release.

Destroyer – 15 – 2HRS – Action, Crime, Drama – 6.8/10 – D= Karyn Kusama – S= Nicole Kidman, Toby Kebbell, Tatiana Maslany – A police detective trying to reconnect with her daughter and her past.

Opinion: It looks like such a tough and gritty film plus I love Nciole Kidman.

30th

Green Book – 12A – 2HRS 10MINS – Biography, Comedy, Drama, – 8.3/10 – D= Peter Farraelly – S= Viggo Mortensen, Mahershala Ali, Linda Caedellini – About an African-American pianist who needs a bodyguard to protect him so he hires a boucer.

Opinion: This is my most anticipated film of January. Every time I watch the trailer it just gives me so many emotions from anger to love and more that I know its going to be an amazing film.
