February Book Haul

So you know when you say to your gonna keep your book buying to a minimum. So not going according to plan but I have a plan I am starting to unhaul books which is very difficult but I think its a good thing. But on a positive note these are books I bought this month which are going to be fascinating reads. Here they are:

The Cut Out Girl by Bart Van Es (Penguin)


It is the Winner of Costa Book Prize and sounds like an incredible and heartbreaking story.


Watch Us Rise by Renee Watson & Ellen Hegen (Bloomsbury)


I asked Bloomsbury for this book as it sounded inspiring. So thank you so much for sending it to me Bloomsbury.


Behold, America by Sarah Churchwell (Bloomsbury)


It sounds like a fascinating book.


Akhenaten by Nicholas Reeves (Thames & Hudson)


I love anything do with Ancient Egyptian history as I would like to do it for my Masters. 


A Girl Called Justice by Elly Griffiths (Quercus)


I love Elly Griffiths everything I read of hers I love. Thank you so much Quercus for sending me this book.


Renaissance People by Robert C. Davis, Beth Lindsmith (Thames & Hudson)


I have a fascination with Renaissance history thanks to an amazing Lecturer who continues to inspire me thank you Ellie Woodacre. Thank you so much Thames and Hudson for this book.


Enchantee by Gita Trelease (Macmillan Children’s Books)


There has been a lot of hype about this book so I am interested.


The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Squirrel Meets World by Shannon Hale & Dean Hale (Egmont)


I wanted to read more of the Marvel novelizations.


Grim Lovelies by Megan Shepherd (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt)


I really want to read this one.
