April Book Haul

So I was quite controlled this month I say this but you know I’m judging it on my idea of controlled. I definitely got some intriguing books to read here. Here is the list:


The Parisian by Isabel Hammad


Opinion: Not gonna lie it was mostly the cover that drew me in.


The Chaperone by Laura Moriarty


Opinion: I love anything to the with the 1920s.


The Tale of No Name Squirrel by Radhika R. Dhariwal


Opinion: This book was given to me by one of best friends Evelin.


The Old Drift by Namwali Serpell


Opinion: Thank you so much to Hogarth for sending it to me. It looks like a magical ride.


In the Shadow of Heroes by Nicholas Bowling


Opinion: Thank you Chicken House for sending this book to me. I loved Witch Born.


Severed by Peter Laws


Opinion: Thank you to Alison and Busby for sending me this book excited to read it.


The House of Light by Julia Green


Opinion: I loved her first book. Thank OUP Children’s for sending me this one.


No Big Deal by Bethany Rutter


Opinion: Thank you Macmillan for sending me this book it looks like a fun contemporary read.


The Last Spell Breather by Julie Pike


Opinion: I can’t wait to read this it looks like a book that I will love and sink into.
