November Wrap – Up

So this was a very productive month for reading I managed to get a lot done and feel as though I am getting closer to my reading goal of four books a month in a mixture of formats. I also managed to get in some manga and a few comics. So feeling very positive about next month and can’t wait to tell you all about all the books I have read in the past two months.

Opinion: A world that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Opinion: The darkest world that will just suck in and you will love every minute of it.

The Wicked King by Holly Black

Opinion: A continuation that I couldn’t put down and was so steamy.

Everdark by Abi Elphinstone

Opinion: The sweetest story on the planet and super magical.

Opinion: A cool group of girls being badass with this handsome tuxedo man.

Opinion: A new adventure with a homesick twist.

Stars: 4

Golden Kamuy Vol 1 by Satoru Noda

Opinion: An incredible story of greed and duty.

Saga Vol 5 by Brian K. Vaughan (Writer), Fiona Staples (Artist)

Opinion: The insane and cool story continues with an adventure that has some interesting animals in it.

the odd family

The Odd Family: Zombie on Sale

Opinion: An amazing cheesy and hilarious zombie film and is now rivalling Zombieland seriously.

rumor has it

Rumor Has It

Opinion: Wow I didn’t realise how much I would love this film but the gossip filled adventure is just what you need on a girls night.

Second Act

Opinion: A lovely story of hope and getting the chance you deserve because of your talent.

Stars: 4


the laundromat

The Laundromat

Opinion: An incredible piece of cinema that shows the true nature of what is going for people today due to a lot factors including the political system and the 1%.

Christmas With a View

Opinion: This was just beyond plausible and such an awful film to watch.

Stars: 1

The Knight Before Christmas

Opinion: This was such an adorable film that I wouldn’t mind watching it again reminded me of Princess Diaries.

Last Christmas

Opinion: This was hilariously silly but also heart warming moments even with a slightly unusual plot.

TV Shows:

jane the virgin

Jane the Virgin – Season 1 – Netflix

Opinion: This series is hilarious and love it but the thought of it being over 20 episodes is  making me slow.

Stars: 5 so far


his dark materials

His Dark Materials – Season 1 – BBC1

Opinion: I watched two episodes and love it. However, I am just not committed at the moment maybe a Christmas binge.

Stars: 3 1/2 so far



Weeds – Season 1 – Netflix

Opinion: I watched the first series wow I forgot how realistic and depressing with a touch of dark humour this show is.

Stars: 4 so far


the graham norton show

Graham Norton Show – Latest Series – BBC1

Opinion: Something I always need in my life and love it.

Stars: 5 always



Izombie – Season 1 – Netflix

Opinion: I watched the whole first season it was epic. If you haven’t watched this series and love mystery and comedy this is the show for you!

Stars: 5 so far



Temple – Season 1 – Sky


Opinion: I like the concept of this show but need to binge this one I think. I watched two episodes.

Stars: 3 so far



Riverdale – Season 1 -Netflix

Opinion: I love it its drama and scandal plus dark and twisty. I watched four episodes.

Stars: 5 so far



Daredevil – Season 1 – Netflix

Opinion: I watched three episode I like it but it is very slow paced in dialogue which irritates me.

Stars: 3 so far
