May 2020 TBR

So with my renewed faith in my ability to finish more than one book in a month I am going to put a few more on the list to challenge myself. I have a good mixture in this TBR of second books in the series, third book in the series, first books in the series and a stand-alone. The two I am really excited to read is The City of Brass reread for the new book in the series which is The Empire of Gold. The other is Remain Silent which is Susie Steiner‘s new book and I love her books. Let me know in the comments which books are on your TBR this month?

Here is the list:

E. Aster Bunnymund and the Warrior Eggs at the Earth’s Core! by William Joyce

Opinion: The second book in The Guardian series which the first in the series was like stepping back in time to my childhood reading the most magical adventure ever. I hope this one is the same.

The Figure in the Shadows by John Bellairs

Opinion:  The second books in the Lewis Barnavelt series. I really enjoyed the first one in the series the Uncle and Mrs Zimmermann are hilarious characters. I can’t wait for more magical adventures.

The Gravity of Us by Phil Stamper

Opinion: I got this at BookCon last year so thank you to Bloomsbury for this proof. I am looking forward to a great LGBT contemporary romance.

Remain Silent by Susie Steiner

Opinion: I can’t wait to read the new book in the DS Manon Bradshaw series. If you like your suspenseful detective series these books are for you. Thank you to The Borough Press for sending this to me.

The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty

Opinion: I fell in love with this book’s mixture of magic and history the first time and I can’t wait to reread it to continue my reading journey.

Not Even Bones by Rebecca Schaeffer

Opinion: I have been wanting to read this series for ages as it is pitched as similar to Dexter and I am a huge Dexter fan.

As always keep geeking!
