June 2020 Wrap Up

This month was not a great reading month for books at all. I didn’t finish one book which was so disappointing but what I did read of those books were fascinating and eye opening to the Black Lives Matter movement especially Martin Luther King Jr.’s book. Also Shonda Rhimes’ book gave me so much wisdom and perspective on what I want to do in life. In terms, of films it was a mixture of good and bad films I watched but the one that stood out the most was Last Black Man in San Francisco as I was just transfixed the whole way through and I would also love to read a novelisation of it as I think the story would transfer beautifully. I watched Dora and the Lost City of Gold on a whim one night with my mum and we laughed hysterically it was so much fun. I read a few comics that were quite serious and had political themes which was interesting but I think I need a break from it in comics for a bit. The amount of TV shows I watched this month was huge and I was so happy as I finished certain things that were leaving Now TV and loved watching them for example RUN, The Fix and Ballers. My absolute favourite TV show was The Morning Show I mean what an ending and even writing about it now all that anger and emotion floods back to me which is why I thought it was an incredible piece of drama as it evoked so much emotion and fear in me.

Let me know in the comments what you have watched and read this month and if you have read or watched anything I have talked about lets have even more of a discussion.
