August 2020 Book Haul

So there seems to be a theme of big books this month which I was not expecting but hey I do a good thick book even though it does take me a while to get through. What are you thoughts on big books let me know in the comments? Now you may be surprised to see that I bought Midnight Sun even though you know my feelings on Twilight films are that they aren’t my thing. For me I adopt this philosophy that I have taken from being a bookseller and that is even though I may think this book is going to be terrible I still have to at least try to read it because then I feel less like a hypocrite and that I may have missed out on something I love. What are your thoughts on Midnight Sun? On the other side I have bought a lot of books this month that are adaptations that have come out or have just been announced for example Lisey’s Story by Stephen King. Also I bought two books that are on my top ten books of this year which Verify and Belle Revolte such incredible and relevant stories with beautiful worlds attached do check them out.

Let me know in the comments what books, comics and manga you are excited to buy this month.  If you have read any of the books I have talked about lets have even more of a discussion in the comments.
