November 2020 Wrap Up

The last two months of this year have been amazing in terms of how much I have read and watched. That in part is due to being at home so much because of COVID-19 but also because I am dividing my time more wisely in what I do. For me the favourite of all the things I have watched and read would have to be Manjeet Mann’s stunning novel in verse Run Rebel that not only made me cry a lot but also gave me courage as woman and as a woman starting off from a tough background. I hope this turns into a school text it certainly deserves to be one. To coninue with books my favourite read of this month would have to be Appointment with Death as I am a huge Agatha Christie fan and her Poirot books are simply so engrossing for me. In terms of comics this month it has to be Moonshine what incredibly original idea with complex comparison to society then and today. Then onto films I watched quite a mixture of genres this month and the film that stood which will have you in Christmas mood is The Family Stone. It is a beautiful film about expecting yourself and the situation around no matter how much you want to escape it but at the same time showing how important family is. Finally for TV I would say Ratched as I adore Sarah Paulson as an actress and I can’t predict where this story is going to go.
