BFI Future Film Festival 2021

The BFI Future Film Festival is a festival that promotes young people age 16-25 trying to get into the film industry. It includes workshops, masterclasses, talks and screenings. It is running from 18-21st February.

Netflix 2021 Preview

The Preview:

Netflix revealed a huge preview of what is to come in movies this year and I am so excited. The ones I am most excited for is Don’t Look Up and Red Notice as the casts for both films is incredible. The ultimate film I can’t for is Fear Street as I am a huge fan of R.L. Stine and to see his books on the big screen is going to be awesome.

Morbius Release Date Moved

The creepy Marvel creature Morbius’ release date has moved to the 8th October this year. In my mind this seems sensible as it has that slight horror vibes with bats so I think it will likely do well in this month.

New Biopic of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz

A new biopic drama has been floating around the rumour mill in Hollywood. With a lot of discussion of who is to play the leading lady. This biopic is about Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz who is set to be played by Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem and directed by Aaron Sorkin.

Empire Magazine’s Special Issue

The Empire Magazine has just announced they are doing a special issue with Edgar Wright. In it is a discussion from film fans to those who make films and actors about their cinematic memories that changed their lives.
