There is a great mixture of genres in my book haul this month as I didn’t do a big shop, I did little shops throughout the month but I am excited to read all of these books and part of me feels like throwing out my July TBR and just reading all of these but for me structure helps me read more, so I am being controlled. My favourite book purchase would have to Rainbow Grey by Laura Ellen Anderson not only does have rainbow sprayed edges and the most sparkly cover ever. It is written by the beautiful person who writes Amelia Fang series which is my favourite 5-8 years old series if you love sweet, funny and a little spooky looking stories then this series is for you. I am really looking forward to buddy reading Dial A for Aunties with @kelliesam.books as it looks hilarious and I always have so much buddy reading with her. Lastly Emiko Jean’s latest novel is finally coming out and after loving Empress of All Seasons, I can’t wait to see what this contemporary novel is like.
