What a productive month I don’t think I have had such a productive month since 2019 and I hope continue this productivity for the rest of the year. In terms of books I didn’t read many but I hope to build on it as I have a lot of half finished books on my list to finish but my favourite of the month has to be The Selection as I just loved the drama and learning slowly how the world works. In terms of films I have two favourites, firstly The Conjuring The Devil Made Me Do It which is not only a fantastic plot but is more grounded than the other films as there is an actual trial which brings out the true crime element perfectly. The other film is F9 I just love these films they are so much fun and ridiculous but also as they have gone on, they have kept the importance of family embedded into the series which I think is really important. In terms of TV shows there is no competition it has to be Genius Season 3 Aretha as Cynthia Erivo’s performance throughout the whole season embodied Aretha Franklin and her singing made me want to get up sing and dance. The girl who played her younger self was incredible. For Comics my favourite was Spider-Gwen Volume 0 as it flips and twists that story we know so well of Peter Parker and his origin story gives it a new lease of life and a character that is exploring who she wants to be and I can’t wait to read more.
