A new year and a new Goodreads challenge (panicking inside as it scares me). Last year I decide to put a really high goal of 120 books and I didn’t achieve it. So this year I am going to learn from my mistake and set a more achievable goal of 40 books to read this year in the hope that I will go above it but I am not going to pressurise myself into that. That said there are quite a few books on my TBR this month. For those who are knew to this post, TBR stands for To Be Read, so each month I compile a list of books that I would like to read as a goal for the month. I leave a list below of each book with a Goodreads link to give you more information and buttons for purchasing the books. This January there are a large number of fantasy books on my list as I felt that last year I didn’t read enough, so I am diving in with books like Jade Fire Gold by June CL Tan and Little Thieves by Margaret Owen. Then there is a bit of romance mixed in which is genre I am enjoying more and more as I get older. I think it is because they are so cute and enjoyable. Those books are The Elite by Kiera Cass and All The Feels by Olivia Dade. This year I am doing the Read Christie 2022 Challenge in which, you read a Agatha Christie book each month which, this month is The Man in the Brown Suit.
Here are the books I want to read:
The Man in the Brown Suit by Agatha Christie
Little Thieves by Margaret Owen
Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan
Near the Bone by Christina Henry
The Wolf and the Woodsman by Ava Reid
All the Feels by Olivia Dade
The Deathless Girls by Kiran Millwood Hargrave
The Elite by Kiera Cass
Romanov by Nadine Brandes
The Sanatorium by Sarah Pearse
Jade Fire Gold by June CL Tan
