March 2022 TBR

For those who are new to this post, TBR stands for To Be Read, so each month I compile a list of books that I would like to read as a goal for the month. I leave a list below of each book with a Goodreads link to give you more information and buttons for purchasing the books at your preferred retailer. My most anticipated read this month is Japanese Legends & Folklore as I have an interest in Japanese history and Tuttle who publishes this book has a fascinating selection of books on the subject. It is a collection of tales from Japanese culture that explore Hara-Kiri (a form of ritual suicide) and the Samurai. Another book I am excited to read is Peter James’ Dead Simple which has been turned into a TV show and is on ITV called Grace. It is a detective show centered around a missing person case and a stag night. Lastly I am super excited to read Mona which is about a Peruvian writer that is nominated for a literary award and is sent to Sweden with all the other nominees but not all of them get along.
