April 2022 TBR

This is the month I was born in, so I am reading my two favourite genres of fiction fantasy and crime. For the fantasy side I have a middle grade, two YA books and an adult so these will be challenging side of my TBR as like most fantasy books they are big and beautiful. The one I am most excited to read is The Jasmine Throne. As I have had pleasure of meeting Tasha and can’t wait to see what her wonderful imagination has produced. This follows a young woman named Malini whose destiny is intertwined in family drama and magic. While on the crime side I have chosen a modern translated fiction and classic that I haven’t read but have loved the TV Show; Vera since I was a teenager. It is called The Crow Trap and this is the first case for Detective Inspector Vera Stanhope that involves a lot of lies and history.
