December 2022 TBR

It is Christmas month, my favourite time of year! This year I am spending it in the sun instead of the beautiful snow and damp weather of England. I never realised how I enjoyed the damp climate of England until I came here, I miss it terribly. So I am determined to stay positive with some feel good books this month to keep me company. I am starting with Hercule Poirot’s Christmas which is an Agatha Christie classic and it is of the season. Then continuing my feel good moment with the dreamy words of Stanley Tucci discussing food in Taste. Next I have a YA author Emiko Jean whose books I have always loved and this is an adult contemporary fiction called Mika in Real Life. I am very excited to see what drama appears in this story. Lastly I have a YA romance that has a very long title but is to do with food. So I know it is going to be the perfect feel good read for December. It is called The Surprising Power of a Good Dumpling by Wai Chim.
