Gild is Being Adapted!

The popular series Gild by Raven Kennedy has now been confirmed as being adapted for TV. It has been picked up by Mandalay Television company. If you have not heard of Gild this is a fantasy retelling of the story of King Midas and Auren.

A New Medical Drama Coming Soon – St. Marks

I love medical drama’s ever since I got into Grey’s Anatomy. There is a new one coming to our TV screens by CBS studios and written by David Marshall Grant and Megan King Kelly. It is about a group doctors and hospital chaplains that team up to heal people. Grant has worked on Code Black as an executive producer which is a show I love.

Channing Tatum’s new film settled at Amazon Studios

There was a serious scrappy fight for Channing Tatum’s new film Red Shirt which bidders from Paramount, Universal, Netflix and Sony but Amazon Studios won in the end. The story is being kept a secret, all we do know is it is spy thriller. Honestly after the trailer for Magic Mike’s Last Dance and watching The Lost City I can’t wait to watch this new project.

Al Saqi Books is Closing

Al Saqi Books has had a special place in my heart, ever since I was little my mum has been taking me there. It has been here in London for 44 years and is a specialist in Middle Eastern books. The company also has two publishing houses Saqi Books and Dar al Saqi which will keep running. The shop will close its doors on 31st December and will be having a sale beforehand.

Two New Lee Newbery Books Coming!

I adored Lee Newbery’s first novel The Last Firefox which was the cutest magical adventure. Now Puffin have picked up two more books by Lee. The first will be the sequel to The Last Firefox called The First Shadowdragon which honestly I needed yesterday! The cover is incredible!
