April 2020 Book Haul

Slightly in keeping with my promise to myself to buy less books. Thanks to lock down I haven’t been as tempted to buy as many books as I would usually buy. Plus I have had loads of time to read and sort out my books during this lock down. This month have mostly been about updating my collection to make sure I have the full series to devour for instance Goosebumps and Wayward Children series. Opinion: I enjoyed the first one a great zombie middle grade and looking forward to know about the characters next adventures.

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer (new covers)

Beneath The Sugar Sky by Seanan McGuire (Wayward Children 3)

Opinion: Absolutely loving the peculiarity of the world and how each book represents a different person in the world.  

 

The  Seventh Sun by Lani Forbes

Opinion: The description gripped me and I love Blackstone Publishing books. 

 

In The Crypt with a Candlestick by Daisy Waugh

Opinion: I love anything that is compared to Agatha Christie.
